- Welcome! "City Lights" is a place for me to write about a Chicago story. The characters include a girl who loves to write, a husband, and a harbor called Montrose. We recently turned in our red Vespa in exchange for a baby boy named August Wells. It's our daily in the Windy City. As Annie Dillard says, "How we spend our days, is, of course, how we spend our lives."

Um that first picture is to die for. And can we still be friends if I don't go to Montrose all the time? I *think I've been there but I sure cannot remember!
