Project 365 Up to Date

Project 365, up to date.  Holla.

Day 51: Watching Winnie the Pooh because he didn't nap and Mommy needed to get ready to leave for work.  DVD left at our house by his bestie Ellie Sue.
Day 52: Professor and licensed psychologist Dr. Kelly Flanagan from Wheaton College was on the Today Show for this letter he wrote to his daughter about beauty that doesn't fade.  Suuuper cool.
Day 53: Bundled up to walk in below zero temperatures to go get a flu shot.  Life is hard.
Day 54: We ducked into the gorgeous flower shop down the street from our apartment, telling the florist we were "in search of beauty."  I took a picture of his flowers, and he took a picture of Augy to send to his sister, who had just had a baby.
Day 55: Stopping by to see Daddy at work.

Day 56: This is still up on our chalkboard wall.  Not getting old.  Literally and truly could not have done it without the most supportive husband on the planet.
Day 57: Congratulatory flowers from my practice.  Such wonderful people.
Day 58:  New sheets from Dwell Studio. These just were a must for his nursery.
Day 59: I will always remember me & Augy's first winter together.  The worst winter in 100 years.  We would not have survived it without the Target that opened 3 minutes from our apartment.  We made small trips every other day or so, just to get out of the house.
Day 60: After the accidental occurrence of Augy submerging his entire head in the bath water, we decided to take him swimming since he didn't seem bothered at all after going under.  As it turns out, he. loved. swimming.  My momma heart will always remember the joy and bravery he showed in his first swim.
Day 61:  The daily.  Well, not the coffee.  I wish, but it's too acidic for my stomach, so it's reserved for desperate days only.
Day 62: Gorgeous gold cake and Oscar ballots for an Oscar's Party at Kirra's.  Love my girls and Kirra's party-throwing magic.

31 [Days] Below Video

My brother and fellow Chicagoan, Ty, created this video from clips he took every day in January of his everyday life.
Now it's almost the end of February, and I'm waiting on pins and needles to see if he'll have created one for the month of February.

It is absolutely gorgeous.
The music, the black and white, the images of our city frozen in all its class.
Thanks Ty for your never-ending creative mind and talent.

Project 365: Week Four + Some

Oh you guys.
Project 365.  I'm lost.
Something looks a little off... I'm on "Week Four" and it's February 16?
Try to turn a blind eye.
I don't wanna give up!

Day 21: A song we've been singing lately, "If all the snowflakes were chocolate cake and milkshakes, oh what a snow that would be!"
Day 22: Of all the household chores, I'd take laundry any day.  Although lately I feel like it's all I do.
Day 23: What a winter.
Day 24: Kirra actually snapped this shot with my camera when we took the babes to the Nature Museum one freeeeeeezing cold morning.  The butterfly sanctuary is out of this world!
Day 25: "Mr. Whale," as he is affectionately known at our house.
Day 26: Their relationship.  I don't know if my heart can take it.
Day 27: Six month pediatrician appointment.
Day 28: Feeding him solids has been such a blast.  Our little foodie.
Day 29: Hours of study for my licensure exam.  The few uninterrupted hours I got in were gold.
Day 30: A study package of treats from my friend Alyce.  Best.
Day 31: Readin.'
Day 32: My favorite store for toys for the Augy man.  We love to pop in there.
Day 33: View from the parking deck of my new gym location.
Day 34: Final hours of study at one of my newer favorite spots, the Goddess & Grocer.  Their buffalo chicken wrap hits the spot for me.

Day 35: Biggest day.
Day 36: There were so many Valentine's Day cards to drool over at Papersource this year.  I had to go three times before finally deciding on one for Neal.
Day 37: His lovie.
Day 38: Out celebrating my LCPC.  Little one wanted the Coke so bad!

Ok, 38 out of 47 days done.  If you let me cheat a little, I'll catch up?!

Day 13: Plum Market.  We love it there.
 Day 14: Chilly walks.
 Day 15: Sleepy yumminess.
Day 16: This position.  Those legs.  I'm so obsessed with the chubs.  Don't ever grow up, baby!
Day 17: Little hands at work.
Day 18: Neal's brown eyes + my blue/green eyes made... hazel??
Also, the furrowed expressive brows are something I will always remember about this baby boy of mine.
Day 19: Playing with his dad.  The way he looks at him! Ouchhhh.
Day 20: Someday everything out there will turn green.  Keep watchin'.
