I think I said all I wanted to say about the 4th of July in the post just before this one. At least for this year. Next year I'll start up again with the loves for this holiday and its celebration. But let me just say a few last things and then I'll be done.
Let me saybeautiful wooded drive, evening family boat rides, growing babies, relaxing lake view deck, Tolstoy, and fireworks. Lots and lots of fireworks (thank you, Lake Bloomington residents for the never-ending shows!)
Welcome! "City Lights" is a place for me to write about a Chicago story. The characters include a girl who loves to write, a husband, and a harbor called Montrose. We recently turned in our red Vespa in exchange for a baby boy named August Wells. It's our daily in the Windy City. As Annie Dillard says, "How we spend our days, is, of course, how we spend our lives."
